Year 2014 marks the centennial of the start of World War I. The second decade of the 20th century was tumultuous both in history and art history. Artists in France, Italy and Germany competed for leadership in the modernist art movement. Displaying great diversity and creativity, Picasso, Kandinsky, Duchamp, Boccioni and others established the dominant paths their successors would follow for a century. Blossom Street Brides by Debbie Macomber

Very fun, light summer reading. Some of the same characters from the other Blossom street books

I read Johnny's Angel by Danielle Steele. It was a shorter book, but kind of hard to get through. I liked the story line, but it wasn't written from anyone's perspective. It was hard to connect to the characters and feel their emotion. It would have been a lot better if it was written from the mothers point of view.
