June 18, 2015 marks the 200th Anniversary of the Battle of Waterloo. On that Sunday, the Grande Armée of Napoleon Bonaparte met the coalition forces of the Duke of Wellington in farm fields south of the Belgian village of Waterloo. The outcome of the battle was, as Wellington later said, ‘a close run thing.’ Using maps, historical paintings, and photographs of the locations of key engagements, Battlefield historian Robert Mueller presents portraits of the main antagonists, events leading up to the battle, a description of the fighting, and a review of the momentous consequences of Napoleon’s defeat. **REGISTRATION REQUIRED.**
